For this assignment I decided upon a writing assignment from my SL Blog. This piece is entitled Side by Side. It was written April 28, 2010, and the original assignment asked us to format our blogs so that it would be a comparison/contrast essay between our service learning site and the book Three Cups of Tea. Somehow, somewhere in the back of my mind, everything clicked for this piece, and I was able to pull this assignment together. The essay has a knowledgeable sounding voice to the paper.
Here’s an example,
“When Mortenson who coauthored the book, “Three Cups of Tea," and Boscola in charge of outreach, for, "Everett Meals Program," decide to work on their specific projects, they bring with them a host of respect, and compassion for their fellow man. Greg Mortenson and Ron Boscola both found their callings in different areas of serving humanity. They have unparallel passion to see their visions realized to the end.”
